Meaning: “on the other hand,” “while,” “on the contrary.”
The structure ～一方（で） is used to express contrast or comparison between two actions, situations, or states. It can indicate that while one thing is happening, on the other hand, something else is happening as well. 

Structure:
　　・Verb (Dictionary form) + 一方（で）
　　・い-adjective + 一方（で）
　　・な-adjective + 一方（で）
　　・Noun + である + 一方（で）

               The economy is developing, but on the other hand, environmental problems are becoming more serious.

               （あに は ないこうてき な いっぽう、おとうと は しゃこうてき だ。）
               My older brother is introverted, while my younger brother is sociable.

      6. 🌟 このレストランは料理が美味しい一方、サービスが良くない。
         　　（この レストラン は りょうり が おいしい いっぽう、サービス が よくない。）
         　　The food at this restaurant is delicious, but on the other hand, the service is not good.

         　　（にほん は でんとう を おもんじる いっぽう で、あたらしい もの も とりいれる。）
               Japan values tradition, but on the other hand, it also embraces new things.

         　　（かれ は しごと に しゅうちゅう する いっぽう で、しゅみ も たのしんでいる。）
         　　He focuses on work, but on the other hand, he also enjoys his hobbies.

         　　（この えいが は おもしろい いっぽう で、すこし ながすぎる。）
               This movie is interesting, but on the other hand, it’s a bit too long.
