Meaning: “I don’t know whether… or…”
The structure ～のやら～のやら is used to express confusion or uncertainty between two possible situations or choices. It often appears in contexts where the speaker cannot clearly determine which of the two options applies to the situation.

               I can’t tell if he’s angry or joking.

      5. 🌟 試験に合格できるのやらできないのやら、不安でいっぱいだ。

               I’m so worried about whether I’ll pass the exam or not.

               I don’t know whether he’s joking or serious.

               I can’t figure out if that person is Japanese or a foreigner.

               It seems it hasn’t been decided whether he will come or not.

      9. 🌟 彼が本当のことを言っているのやら嘘をついているのやら、信じられない。
               (かれ が ほんとう の こと を いって いる の やら うそ を ついて いる の やら、しんじられない。)
               I can’t believe whether he’s telling the truth or lying.

      10. 🌟 彼が助けてくれたのやらただの偶然なのやら、今でも不思議に思う。
                (かれ が たすけて くれた の やら ただ の ぐうぜん なの やら、いま でも ふしぎ に おもう。)
                I still wonder if he helped me or if it was just a coincidence.
