Meaning: “Not as much as…”, “Not to the extent that…”
This structure is used to indicate that something is not as much or as great as something else. It is often used to compare two things, showing that one does not reach the same level, degree, or extent as the other.
　※Note: “～ほど～ない” is used in comparisons where the subject is lacking or inferior in degree or intensity compared to something else.
