Meaning: “Or…” / “Alternatively…”
“それとも” is used to present two different options or situations, asking the listener to choose one of them. Often used in questions, “それとも” helps the speaker clarify the options for the listener, making it easier to make a decision.
　※Note: “それとも” usually appears at the beginning of the second clause to connect two options and clearly indicate the contrast between the choices presented.
